At the ‘International Graphic Arts Show’ IGAS 2015 in Japan, Agfa Graphics focuses on helping graphic enterprises innovate their business.
At the IGAS trade fair 2015 in Tokyo, Japan, Agfa Graphics will present its latest innovations in prepress as well as inkjet technology.
On the booth, there will be live demos of the chemistry-free Azura printing plate with the Azura CX 95 and Azura CX 125 clean-out units to demonstrate the unique advantages of the ‘Quick Dry Printing’ process developed by Agfa in Japan and highly appraised by many Japanese printing companies.
In addition, the most recent version of the Apogee workflow software (version 9) will be demoed, including the Apogee StoreFront web-to-print solution. The booth will feature a lot of high-quality samples to show off the quality resulting from the use of Azura printing plates as well as of Agfa Graphics’ Sublima screening technology.
Inkjet printing will be represented on the booth in the shape of the Jeti Titan S, a true flatbed, 3-meter wide UV-curable printer with a flat-to-roll option. It will be driven by Agfa Graphics’ Asanti software, which is adapted to the specific needs of wide-format printers. Asanti streamlines production processes and maintains consistency across the board.
On September 11th, there will be an Apogee Users Conference, where Apogee users can share experiences, tips and tricks with their peers.
Celebrating over ten years of Azura chem-free printing plates
At IGAS 2015, the ‘10+ Years of Azura’ campaign will draw to an end. Over the preceding twelve months, Agfa Graphics celebrated the ten-year milestone of its Azura chemistry-free printing plate technology, which is at the heart of many printing operations and the choice of an overwhelming number of forward-thinking printing organizations. To this end, our local sales representatives all over the world shared celebration cakes with Azura customers. Starting with the celebration of the 1 million m² plate consumption of Japanese printer Daicolo in September 2014, the journey passed through China, Korea, Dubai, Belarus, Germany, the UK, the USA, Brazil, Chile and Australia before ending in Japan again.
The Agfa Graphics booth at IGAS will show a map of this journey. In addition, it will feature print samples made by Azura users and testimonials of the celebrations around the world.
